NOTE: Upon booking, guest will receive a rental agreement to be signed and returned to host prior to check-in. NO Smoking / NO Pet Policy must be followed. Failure to follow will result in stay being terminated without refund, plus a deep cleaning fee of $500. *As listed in the rental agreement* The occupancy limit is 6 Guests. Failure to follow the occupancy limit will result in stay being terminate without refunds given. **PLEASE NOTE: The Smoky Mountains are home to native black bear populations, and therefore there is always the possibility of bear activity in the area. **Cabin decor is seasonal and may vary from what is shown in listing pictures. Christmas decor is displayed late October/early November through January.

Experience true mountain living in this authentic hand-hewn log cabin in a mountainous location with rustic charm, while still being minutes away from gas stations, convenience stores, outdoor parks for children, grocery stores, and restaurants located just down the mountain from the cabin, as well as a short distance to all the local attractions.

Our family had another AMAZING experience at Peaceful Getaway! The cabin truly lives up to the name. The location is ideal for adventures days at Dollywood or countless other attractions during the day and relaxing evenings at a cozy, clean place that feels like home. The cabin offers exceptional amenities and is well-stocked with everything you could possibly need or want! The covered porch swing is our favorite way to start and end each day! This was our second stay and look forward to future visits!

The mountain top cabin is a hike to get to - if you’re not used to driving up steep mountain roads - but well worth the experience. Close to many attractions, but still gives you a private getaway. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and cozy - a perfect retreat. It had more than enough supplies and activities to meet our needs during the trip. The coffee bar and hot tub were our favorite parts. It was a perfect couples getaway, but would very comfortably suit 4 adults. As a host, John was extremely attentive for preparing us for check in and departure and also sent informational messages when the drive up/down the mountain road would be best due to weather concerns in the snow. I would definitely recommend The Peaceful Getaway if staying in the Pigeon Forge area!

We loved our stay in the cabin. My kids asked if we could stay longer. The view was amazing from the porch. John is an amazing host and will make sure you are taken care of during your stay. We had the heat go out and he had someone out within two hours to fix it(keep in mind that it was on Christmas Eve too). It looks just like the pictures online. The beds are super comfy too! We will definitely be back to visit again!

Probably the best place we have ever stayed at. Very clean, wonderful amenities, homey, cozy, & peaceful. Road to cabin is steep & winding, but it is the mountains after all. Absolutely loved this stay! thank you for providing such an amazing place!

Our family loved our stay! The boys played pool multiple times a day. The cabin is decorated beautifully to every last detail and feels extremely homey and cozy. For fun, we loved the Alpine Coaster just down the hill. The location is perfect for a peaceful feeling away from crowds yet close to everything. We would highly recommend staying here!

The Peaceful Getaway is a beautiful cabin tucked away in a private lot. Very private and peaceful, minimal traffic. The inside is clean and cozy. John and his wife have literally thought of everything to make this a "home away from home" for all guests. From makeup wipes, qtips and laundry detergent to every type of coffee imaginable and board games. The beds sleep great and pillows are amazing-even nicer than my own pillows at home. I can't say enough good things about this cute little cabin and it's amazing owners. I messaged John a couple of times and he is very nice and responsive. If you're thinking of booking this cabin- do it! Please be advised, as cabin is up in the mountain, the private road getting to it is fairly steep and winding. But only 3 mins from the four lane. Thanks John! We definitely enjoyed our stay!

Had a great time at this cabin in the Smoky Mountains Tenn. Would rent this cabin again, it was high enough up the mountain that there was very little traffic. This was my second time to the area, the Cabin had everything we needed. The AC was extremely nice with the 90+ temps during our stay. The porch was spacious and I loved the porch swing. Hazards of the area I'm sure. Was wanting a cabin with privacy and this was perfect. Thanks for making our Pigeon Forge stay great!

This cabin is perfect if you are looking for a "hideaway". Be warned that the raod to the house is very narrow, and i would recommend your first time going is in daylight. You are about 10 minutes from anything you would need (gas, food, restaurants), but you dont hear any of the noise from town. We were lucky to see a black bear in the yard, and birds sang every day. Layout was nice with one room and bathroom upstairs and one down. If we have a need again next year for a place in Pigeon Forge, this will be out first pick

The Peaceful Getaway is perfectly situated on a mountain. The drive up is steep in some areas, but the road system is asphalted and two-cars width, so it's a very sturdy drive for a mountain area! Winter weather is always unpredictable in the smokies. Four-Wheel drive vehicles are always recommended when traveling to any area in the smokies during winter weather conditions.
